Using Canva for Business
Over the last few years, Canva has solidified itself as a staple for easy digital content creation. This is because they’ve managed to make design easier and more accessible than predecessors like Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

Regardless of your industry, goals, and level of design experience, you’ll find thousands of pre-made templates to make your life easier.
Here are 3 great Canva features that you may not know about yet – including one brand-new feature that can save you countless hours every week.
3 Time-Saving Canva Features
AI is everywhere right now, and that won’t be changing anytime soon. In fact, businesses and brands are starting to use it to help them create everything from emails to images. So of course we were excited to hear Canva was getting in on the AI action. Introducing the Magic Write feature.
With Magic Write, Canva will help you create writing in 21 different languages that can be used in every piece of work you create.
Besides providing AI written content, Magic Write can also help you spot typos, correct grammar and clean up your text as needed.
Simply press “ /“ with your Canva project open and select Magic Write to get started.
The Magic Write feature provides 25 lifetime uses for Canva Free users. With Canva Pro and Canva for Teams, you have up to 250 Magic Write uses. The limit is for each user and refreshes every billing month.
We used Magic Write to create a caption for a made-up author’s new children’s book. Here’s the content it created!
Speaking of AI, Canva is also getting into the AI image creation game with Text to Image.
This feature is just like it sounds. Inside a Canva project, users can now type in whatever image they’d like to create and then watch Canva make that image come to life!
For example, we typed in “Woman reading a book with her child in bed.” Here’s the image that Text to Image created for us:
Definitely not a perfect image and the technology still has a ways to go. But it’s not too bad for the little context we gave it! This image goes perfectly with the social caption we just created above.
It will be interesting to see how this tool develops over time, but definitely try it out and see if it might work for you and your brand!
By now, we all know that video is king when it comes to the social and digital landscape. But most authors and business owners like you don’t have the time or resources to create, edit and post videos regularly on their own.
But tools like Canva are making it easier for you to create videos that promote you and what you do faster than ever before.
Canva now has an entire videos section and editor that provides you with templates for everything from videos for Youtube to Instagram and TikTok. Don’t have the time or equipment to film something yourself?
Choose from thousands of public-use videos that you can use on your website, socials, and for your business.
